Parents and Carers - Knife Amnesty |
As part of the national Sceptre week of action against knife crime, we're encouraging parents and carers to have open conversations with young people about the dangers and consequences of carrying knives.
Many young people may believe carrying a knife offers protection - the reality is that it often increases risk and can change lives forever.
Taking a few minutes to talk, listen and understand concerns can make a real difference. If you're worried about a young person, support and advice is available through schools, youths services, local prevention teams, and organisations such as the benkinsella.org.uk
